This cutting board was commissioned as a wedding gift. Given free reign, we decided on Hard Maple as the main wood to provide a light background for the design of names and wedding date.
Black Walnut was chosen as a contrasting wood with diagonal dividers of African Padauk. Three circles of African Padauk diminishing in size complete the cutting board.
